Just back from a 600 mile round trip to have some work done on my Fiat 2.8 JTD based Burstner Elegance at C & M Auto Services in Lancaster and I can highly recommend them.
I went there because I had previously had excellent service from TB Turbo (now defunct) and C & M is run by Mark Woods who was TB's workshop manager for many years, plus there was an earlier recommendation on MHF.
I needed a service, an MOT and some fault diagnosis and repair (engine management light on all the time, coinciding with failure of speedometer and odometer!!). When I arrived at Lancaster and started to unload my Smartie from the trailer I noticed a bit of metal on the trailer bed which turned out to be a bit of the front coil spring off the car!! Mark said he could fix this as well provided he could get the part. One phone call by Mark to the parts supplier and I was told "the spring is on its way".
All the work was done as required, the Smartie was even washed, and I felt that the pricing was very reasonable indeed.
I would have no hesitation to use C & M again - they can take up to 7.5 tons so my 4 ton A class was no problem and the Smartie even less so!
